This recipe dominated Melinda’s Wing Month 2024 Wing Off and earned a podium finish at the 2024 Open Fire Meat Up—one of the toughest international competitions for pitmasters and open-fire chefs.
When wings this good take the BBQ world by storm, you know we had to share the magic. That’s why we teamed up with Tone and Mike Star of @blazingstarbbq to launch this kit, featuring Melinda’s Jalapeño Ranch, our Hot Honey, and Blazing Star’s legendary PorkN' Rub. This winning combo of bold flavors and Tone’s expertise delivers wings that are nothing short of barbecue perfection.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs wings

1/2 cup Jalapeño Ranch

2 tbsp Hot Honey
- 1 tsp dried dill
- 1 tsp granulated garlic
- 2 tsp everything bagel seasoning
- Crumbled Cotija cheese
- Finely chopped cilantro
Directions
Hit those wings with a generous coat of Blazing Star PorkN' Rub—don’t be shy.
Smoke ‘em at 350°F until they hit 180°F internal temp for tender, juicy perfection.
Mix up the sauce: Jalapeño Ranch, Hot Honey, dill, garlic, and bagel seasoning—BBQ magic in a bowl.
Toss the wings in that sweet, spicy sauce until they’re coated in flavor.
Finish with a dusting of PorkN' Rub, then top with crumbled Cotija cheese and fresh cilantro.
