Inspired by Día de los Muertos, this ruby mocktail honors the season’s ofrendas and marigold-bright celebrations. Fizzy sangria soda and jewel-toned pomegranate juice create a festive base, while a few reverent drops of Melinda’s Ghost Pepper Sauce add a gentle, warming “candlelight” heat. Topped with crisp soda water and a blood-orange wheel reminiscent of sugar-skull art, it’s a spirited tribute you can toast with—no alcohol required, just vibrant flavor and remembrance.
Ingredients
- 6 oz. Non-alcoholic sangria soda (we used Señorial Sangria)
- 1.5 oz. Pomegranate juice
- 4 drops Melinda’s Ghost Pepper Sauce
- Soda water
Directions
Fill a festive cup with ice.
Add 6 oz. non-alcoholic sangria soda, 1.5 oz. Pomegranate juice and 4 drops Melinda’s Ghost Pepper Sauce.
Stir.
Top with soda water
Garnish with a blood orange wheel.
