Ingredients
- 18-24 chicken wings
- Poultry rub of choice
- 2 tbsp Melinda's Sriracha Wing Sauce
- 1/2 cup blackberry whiskey
- 1/2 cup Melinda's Hot Honey Sauce
- 1/4 cup Melinda's Fire Roasted Jalapeno & Garlic Sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup raspberry chipotle BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp water
- Diced chives
Directions
- Set up kettle grill with vortex heat (aim for 400-500 degrees F).
- Pat wings dry, coat lightly with Melinda's Sriracha Wing Sauce, and season with poultry rub.
- Grill wings around the vortex until crispy and cooked through.
- While wings cook, add blackberry whiskey to a saucepan and carefully reduce to cook off the alcohol.
- Stir in Melinda's Hot Honey Sauce, Fire Roasted Jalapeno & Garlic Sauce, brown sugar, and BBQ sauce.
- Simmer until combined. Add cornstarch slurry (cornstarch + water) if a thicker glaze is desired.
- Toss crispy wings in the glaze.
- Garnish with fresh diced chives before serving.
Recipe Note
Use a high-heat vortex setup on a kettle grill for the crispiest skin without deep frying. Adjust glaze thickness with cornstarch slurry if needed.
