I got messages from friends days later asking me about my BBQ veggies… “They were SO good!”
I cut up bell peppers, squash, and sliced onions. Put them on a piece of foil with generous dollops of this jelly on top. Sealed the foil on the ends and plopped it on the grill. Minutes later the veggies were the perfect side dish to our BBQ! Tender, sweet and a good amount of spicy (but not overpowering). I highly recommend this jelly! I usually use Harry & David’s Charred Pineapple Relish with Candies Peppers for this dish but that jar is just too expensive and with how liberally I glob on the veggies it uses up almost the whole jar for this dish! The price and size of Melinda’s version is such a better deal! I still have half the jar left AND I couldn’t tell the difference, if anything I would say this dish even came out tasting BETTER than when I’ve used the Harry & David one. 😉
