Chipotle Mexican Hot Chocolate

  • 8 oz dark chocolate 70% 
  • Cups Whole Milk
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 Cinnamon stick Charred
  • ½ Whole vanilla bean
  • ¼ Tsp Sea Salt
  • 8-12 Dashes Melinda's Chipotle Hot Sauce or to taste


  • Heat all ingredients together over med-high heat until chocolate is melted, but not to scald the milk
  • Whisk until smooth consistency and simmer about 5-10 minutes
  • Remove vanilla bean pod and cinnamon stick
  • Pour into your favorite mug and garnish with whipped cream, marshmallows and cinnamon – or even a few more dashes of Melinda's Chipotle hot sauce and enjoy!
